| From the Brenner Pass to Bozen
The Eisacktal Valley runs from the Brenner Pass in the north of the country southwards to the city Bozen where it flows into the Etschtal Valley. While near the Brenner Pass the glaciated summits of the Alpine Main Ridge dominate the natural scenery - more southwards the valley changes its face and lets prosper on its slopes and dips romantic chestnut-groves, vineyards and splendid orchards.

| Brixen and Sterzing - two magnificent cities
Two important towns always characterized the Eisacktal Valley and its people.
The bishop’s see Brixen with its gorgeous cathedral, its convents, the Castle Hofburg and the well preserved Old Town. Sterzing onetime was an important place of trade with and owns a number of wonderful civic hauses. Its Romanic past is unmistakable because its numerous relics from this ancient time.
